Gwiazdkowy Business Mixer in Katowice_December,12

Another successful Gwiazdkowy Business Mixer in Katowice marking its fifth edition in collaboration with IGCC chambers, Miasto Katowice, Katowice Special Economic Zone and Konfederacja Lewiatan! Over 200 participants from various parts of Poland and different sectors explored the economic potential of Katowice City and the Katowice Special Economic Zone. For PCCC it’s a location of significant Canadian investment – the first Maple Bear school in Poland, opened this September.

Engaging discussions and the vibrant networking were complemented by the Christmas ambiance of Vienna House Easy by Wyndham Katowice, featuring delectable dishes and exquisite Slovak wines.

New Year Business Mixer in Łódź_January,11

We are delighted to invite our Members for our upcoming New Year Business Mixer, co-organised in collaboration with other IGCC chambers under the honorary patronage of the President of Łódź City.
 
This evening of networking, collaboration, and celebration as we usher in the New Year provides an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow members, establish new partnerships, and strengthen existing relationships within our diverse business community.

PCCC Christmas Luncheon

A wonderful Christmas Luncheon at the Canadian Embassy  on December 8, filled with the warmth of familiar faces and the richness of Polish tradition! Delightful conversations over traditional Christmas meals made the afternoon truly special. We reflected on the past year and wished each other a new year filled with exciting challenges, noteworthy events, and new areas of collaboration. May the coming year bring us growth and prosperity! Welcome new PCCC member – Fracht FWO Polska!

Canadian perspective on 3W idea_ 3W Congress_November 28

The PCCC President, Bernhard L. Otterstein presenting the Canadian prespective on 3W idea will be the panelist during 3W Congress on November 28. This two-day conference ( November, 27-28)  is the largest gathering of experts in water, hydrogen and carbon technologies. 

What is the 3W Idea?

It is a project initiated by BGK (Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego) in 2021. Its task is to support the development and build a competitive advantage of Polish economy based on innovative technologies in the area of water, hydrogen and carbon.

The 3W Congress organized by the bank is a one-of-a-kind event. Last year it brought together several hundred talented scientists, courageous entrepreneurs, ambitious students, as well as representatives of the public sector, NGOs and financial institutions.

And what’s in store this year?

The theme of this year’s event is elemental carbon and related technologies that are used in medical, IT, defense and space industries. Topics related to sustainable water resources management and their protection will be discussed as well. We will also talk about what a hydrogen-powered future might look like and look at the solutions used in other countries.

We will also present the results of analyses and reports on 3W technology and the development of the 3W sector. We will show the most interesting projects implemented by local governments and talk about what opportunities local authorities see for regional development through involvement in 3W projects.

The congress will also feature the finals of the Start-up Showdown competition – for innovative 3W start-ups from the Three Seas region.

The event will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Conference Centre Warsaw, at 21 Skalnicowa Street. Funds from ticket sales will be allocated to one of the initiatives indicated by participants.

Joyeux 90e anniversaire, Air France ! Congratulations to PCCC member on this beautiful anniversary. Wishing many more fantastic years soaring with the elegance and style Air France is known for. The celebration at Skyliner Tower was like a flight over the illuminated skyline of Warsaw. See you at the 100th birthday celebration!  

ReBuild Ukraine Exhibition & Conference_November, 14-15

On November 13, Polish Canadian Chamber of Commerce had an efficient time at the networking reception hosted at the Embassy of Canada | Ambassade du Canada in Warsaw, held on the occasion of the ReBuild Ukraine Exhibition & Conference. It was great connecting with Canadian, Polish, and Ukrainian companies, fostering collaboration and building bridges for a brighter future. International Speed Business Mixer

 

On November 7, PCCC had the pleasure to coorganise the International Speed Business Mixer  in Warsaw at the Radisson Collection Hotel! This fantastic event was a collaborative effort of 12 IGCC chambers, and it was a huge success with around 250 attendees.

The event was all about facilitating meaningful connections, and we achieved that by organising three productive networking sessions tailored to the profiles and needs of various companies. It was amazing to see professionals from different industries coming together to exchange ideas and explore potential collaborations.

After the intense networking sessions, we transitioned to a relaxed cocktail hour where companies continued their business discussions while enjoying delicious food and delightful Portuguese wines. 

Thank you to all who attended and made this event such a great success. We look forward to more opportunities for networking and collaboration in the future. Stay tuned for our next exciting event!
