PCCC at Warsaw Trade Day 2026 by Baker McKenzie Polska_October 8

President Bernhard L. Otterstein and Vice President Areta Kempińska of the Polish Canadian Chamber of Commerce attended the Warsaw Trade Day 2026 organised by Baker McKenzie Polska at the company’s headquarters in Warsaw.
The meeting offered valuable insights and advice by seasoned experts into the challenges and opportunities shaping international commerce today. Discussions covered the impact of geopolitical developments on global trade, the practical implications of sanctions regulations and enforcement, as well as changes in customs procedures.
For businesses operating across borders, staying informed and understanding the evolving regulatory landscape are essential. These conversations are particularly important for companies developing their presence in international markets and building long-term partnerships between Poland and Canada.
We would like to thank the Baker McKenzie Polska Team led by Weronika Achramowicz, Managing Partner Poland for bringing together such an experienced group of professionals from the Baker McKenzie global practice, and for an engaging discussion on the wider geopolitical context featuring special guests, among whom were Former US Ambassador Mark Brzezinski and Maxim Berdichevsky, CITP.
At the Polish Canadian Chamber of Commerce, we value initiatives that foster knowledge-sharing, encourage dialogue and help businesses respond to emerging challenges.
We look forward to further opportunities to exchange ideas and strengthen cooperation between the Polish and Canadian business communities.
