Celebrating Canada Day_a Two-Part Festivity

This year’s Canada Day celebration was a delightful and memorable two-part event.

Part One: Garden Party at the Canadian Embassy
On June 26th, the Embassy of Canada in Poland and the Polish Canadian Chamber of Commerce hosted a splendid garden party at the Embassy. The event gathered around 200 guests, all ardent supporters of Polish-Canadian relations. In her speech, Her Excellency, Ambassador Catherine Godin highlighted the dinamily strengthened collaboration between Poland and Canada, emphasizing recent high-level mutual visits and joint activities within NATO. She underscored the enduring tradition of unity, tracing back to the participation of Canadian aviators in the Warsaw Uprising, and reiterated shared values such as democracy, freedom, and diversity.

Part Two: Picnic in the Countryside
The festivities continued in the charming countryside near Warsaw, at Cztery Pory Roku, where members and friends of the Chamber along with families, joyfully strengthened their bonds. The lively picnic featured games and activities, a raffle with exciting prizes, delicious barbecue treats, and refreshing Perła beverages.
