Welcome squareTec, new Patron Member of the PCCC!

We are delighted to welcome squareTec as a new member of the Polish Canadian Chamber of Commerce – and, starting in September, as our Patron Member!

The company develops solutions that bring together physical security, software, data and AI-driven intelligence to help public institutions, cities and critical infrastructure operators better understand, manage and protect their environments.
 
With expertise spanning Physical Security, Cybersecurity and Software Engineering, squareTec delivers innovative solutions for public safety, defence and critical infrastructure, including intelligent video analytics, ANPR, security monitoring and advanced software platforms supporting uniformed services, law enforcement and national security agencies.
 
squareTec also holds security clearances authorizing the company to work with classified information at the Top Secret, NATO Secret and EU Secret levels, enabling it to undertake projects requiring the highest standards of security.
Driven by innovation and a strong commitment to security, squareTec is also leading the PERUN IPC-SBT project, developing an AI-powered cybersecurity platform for technical security systems in cooperation with Poznań University of Technology.

Bernhard Otterstein was born and educated in Vancouver, Canada, where he graduated with honours from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia. He has worked with numerous corporate, governmental, and institutional entities in North America, Europe and Asia in the areas of economic analysis, strategic project and investment planning, new market development, as well as cross-cultural communications. He has been directly involved in projects in the fields of real estate, engineering, energy, biotechnology and IT/telecommunications.

Over the past 15 years, Mr. Otterstein has gained first-hand experience in identifying and promoting innovative, emerging technologies and related business opportunities, taking them from early stage to market via private equity investment and the active co-management of several start-up ventures.
