We are proud that the Polish Canadian Chamber of Commerce can actively contribute to strengthening 🇵🇱🇨🇦 relations and fostering closer cooperation between our business communities.
PCCC President, Bernhard L.Otterstein, Vice Presidents Areta Kempińska and George Havaris as well as PCCC member companies from the defence sector participated in Friday’s Canada–Poland Defence Industry Day, held at the Embassy of Canada in Warsaw. The event marked another important step in strengthening bilateral cooperation following the Strategic Partnership announced last year.
The discussions were concrete and forward-looking, focusing on areas where Polish and Canadian companies can join forces—particularly in supporting Poland’s Armed Forces Development Plan for 2025–2039 and reinforcing NATO’s deterrence capabilities.
Key topics also included industrial partnerships and innovation in the defence sector, highlighting the strong potential for collaboration between our countries.
The event set the stage for upcoming milestones, including CANSEC in Ottawa—where Poland will be the Featured Country—and MSPO in Kielce, where Canada will be the Leading Nation.
We also welcome the important announcement by Export Development Canada regarding the provision of $1 billion in financing to support Canadian defence companies operating in Poland.
